Ahahahahahha that title just kills me. This is my first, and possibly FINAL, Xanga entry at the Lunn house. I love doing this kind of stuff. What I mean by that is making sure I write a xanga when I'm in a weird place. For example: London last year. The problem with London was that where the @ symbol usually is on an American keyboard, they have something else. It was like a dash or something. I'll make sure I ask Kristen about that.
So I am watching the Lunn kids while Fran and Mike are out of town, and I'll be here until Sunday. So I'm hanging out with a bunch of teenagers this weekend and Rocco will be here later. And Justin Wright hahahahahaahaha. I don't know why that's funny. Justin Wright is funny. That's what it is.
It's been awhile since I've typed anything and I forgot how fast I am at it. I also forgot how pompous I am.
The schoolyear is coming to an end soon and I must say that I'm going to miss all those kids over the summer. What am I saying? Wasn't it just a few weeks ago that I couldn't wait to BUST out of there? Maybe I'm changing.
Well, time to get this PARTY weekend rolling hahahahaha. BOOOOM!
Not to toot my own horn (toot is an awkward word), but I have been on here since May 1, 2003. I remember it like it was yesterday. About a week to go before my freshman year of college ended and somehow I stumbled across this...uhh thing? Blog? I hate the word blog. It's obnoxious and I feel like it's said by snooty people updating their "blogs" on the internet in a coffeeshop.
But let's not skip down memory lane. It's really unnecessary.
The C&C Coffeehouse was a GREAT time. Check out the video my brother Rocco edited for it. "THERE ARE CD'S OUT BACK!" Out back WHERE Sean? In the shed?:
Peter Crouch really isn't my favorite footballer, but he's starting to become an odd highlight. I put up that picture of Crouch bicycle kicking that goal home against Galatasaray, but I figured a video of him doing it would be even better:
There's Not Much Chance for Survival, if the Neon Bible is Right.
To begin, I have found what is probably the most amazing band I've ever heard. No band has ever made me run out and buy all of their cds only two days after hearing some of their music up on myspace. But TheArcade Fire did that to me. I'm not one to press music on other people, but I highly HIGHLY recommend them. Absolutely incredible. I hum it all day at work and and I listen to it all night at home. And if you do decide to check them out... well here ya go: www.myspace.com/arcadefireofficial
Also, another band I've come across is a Sweedish group called "I'm From Barcelona". Check out this feel good video. It will change your life. I'm not joking (I'm not even writing "I'm not joking" to be sarcastic):
Alright, "Uncle Tony's gonna do a little DEM-O!" That means, I thought I'd upload some pictures. With the Chiara family possibly moving in probably about a year or so, my mother has gone about the house and"documented" with the camera. Here are two:
Height Chart over the Years. I actually am currently taller than dad...but it wasn't documented. Notice how that peon Rocco has never achieved the golden meadal in height. Actually there is no doubt in my mind that one day Rocco will be taller than me.
Mother also, for some reason, has decided that she's going to takepictures of all the grade school art her children did. Here is my seventh grade pencil drawing of an AT-AT from The EmpireStrikes Back. What a good time we all had drawing while discussing middle school theology (yea, we did that).
Here are two pictures from C&C. Notice the word jumble on the wall. Kelley and I (actually, more credit to Kelley), came up with a nice little phrase out of "St. Patrick's Day".
Also notice how most of the men have jumped on me. It's nice not to have circulation in my legs. And though you might not be able to tell, I am probably fending off bites, jabs, and pinches from Ryan, Rory, and Sean. The girls kill me becuase it seems like all the boys are idiots, while the ladies are sweet angels (NOT TRUE).
